MPES Golf Tournament

The Maine Police Emerald Society is hosting its second annual charity golf tournament to benefit Special Olympics of Maine. Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Riverside Golf Course, Portland. 1:00 PM tee-off time. $100/player. Hole-in-one prize is a Harley Davidson motorcycle!

Join us for a spectacular day of fun, great people, and golf… while know you’re doing something awesome for our Maine Special Olympians. Hope to see you there!!

St. Patrick’s Day

On Saint Patrick’s Day, some of the Maine Public Safety Pipe & Drum Corps pipers and drummers will join us on the air on the Frank FM morning show at 8:00 am. Be sure to tune in at 107.5 FM! Then it’s off to Brian Boru on Center Street for breakfast.

By 11:30 am or so we’ll be in our usual spot on the 2nd floor of Bull Feeney’s for the rest of the day!

The Pipe & Drum Corps will be playing at Ri Ra at 9:30 am and will join us to play at Feeney’s at 12:30 pm before heading off to play at Byrnes Irish Pub in Bath at 4:00 pm and Byrnes Irish Pub in Brunswick at 6:00 pm.

Come out and join us. Slainte!

March Meeting

The new t-shirts are done and we will hand them out to anyone who placed an order. 2016 dues need to be paid, if you haven’t done so already, and will be $25.00 as of March 1.

Portland St. Patrick’s Parade

Sunday, March 13 will be the Portland St. Patrick’s Parade. The parade forms at 11:00 AM at the Portland Fish Pier on Commercial St. and and kicks off at 12:00. The parade goes from there to the area of Ri Ra on Commercial St.

MPES will be marching and anyone who would like to march is welcome to join. Dress warm, but wear something Irish/festive.

Once the parade is over, we will go to Bull Feeney’s for food/drink and some tunes from the MPSP&DC.
